Oklahoma strong

Its been a horrifying week.  Filled with storms and heartbreak.

My heart breaks for the families.

Here is the Moore tornado headed out of Moore and going by our house.

They said it was headed straight for us but it turned and lifted before. 

It then proceeded on and landed and started up again.

We are all ok.  All my family.

My friend Lynnes granddaughters were in the Plaza Towers School..The one that was hit the hardest.

Both these little girls were in that rubble .

Alaina, looking at the camera, was missing for some time.  She was later rescued.  Bruised and scared but ok!  It will all take time.

A quick update

Ok so I have many excuses for not blogging and not one good reason.

Here are a few reasons why I should. 

This one just graduated pre k.  Her personality is vivacious and enchanting.

This one is growing like a very tall weed.  AND what a smart kid.  He is now reading at a nearly 12th grade level and he is in 4th grade.  The school recommended gifted and talented next year.
Yes he is a great guy.

This is Dylans best friend.  He enjoys staying at Grandmas house too.  And they love doing things with Mickey.  What a cute kid Matthew is. 

And last but certainly not least, Miss Emma.  She just turned 9.  This is at her birthday party.  She is soaking in the moment while everyone is singing Happy Birthday.  We should all take a lesson to relish the company we are in and the happiness we can grasp in this life.  That is pure joy you see on her amazing face.

Spring Break 2013

What the Grands are doing this week...

Horseback riding..

 Looking for treasure...

Visiting the Bricktown Ballpark in OKC.

And one is even in Ohio having the time of her life!!!!


As for me, I am working.
My boss always takes off spring break week with his family, therefore I will never be off work when the Grands have their break.  But I am so happy they are having such a nice vacation!!
